Subject: it was a good one....
yea..i remember thinking ok the 1st set was good, and yes, i was dosed out of my skull, the bleachers were bouncing up and down, during jack-a-roe.we didnt think, they would do darkstar after the 90 show, they did in dc, as soon as it got dark, that place was smokin, the whole 2nd set flowed. i thought to myself great show might be the best of summer 91...until we got to giants.....craig steven

An excellent recording and top-notch show.

Subject: Big River Rarity?
During this era, I wonder how often Big River was played as the first song in a cowboy tune transition scenario versus the second song linked to "Me and My Uncle", and other cowboy songs?

Subject: poor sound
2 stars for sound quality- bass muddy, sounds far away, crowd cheering drowns out the band.

Subject: Amazing!
One memerable event about this show was that on the way into the stadium, 2 guys offered 100 bucks for our tickets, which in '91 was alot of money on tour. Already on the verge of peaking, I politefully declined, my friend did not. He ended up peaking in the car, while I peaked at the show and heard my first help>slip>franklin and dark star. Another memerable event was during jack a roe, i looked across the stadium and saw the upper bowl bouncing up and down. I attibuted to the incredible chemicals i was on the time, but years later i was watching a redskins football game and noticed the same thing. This show is much better than i remember, which is amazing in its self.

YES!
Jerry was on, Phil was on, drums were on, even Bobby was....
Nice crowd feeling. After a long delay and announcements to move back, there was a real eruption when the 2nd set started. I remember during the first few seconds of Slipknot I could telll we were in for something special. This was palpable to all around me judging by the faces of my surrounding Deadheads. Blast off!!! I have never heard a more focused Slipknot, ever. I'd love to hear one if someone has one to offer. I feel sorry for my children not to be able to experience anything like this in their lifetime.
Sound is quite good 3.5-4
